UPSC Engineering Services Examination 2011
UPSC is inviting applications from the eligible candidates for Engineering Services Examination 2011 for recruitment of engineers to the four categories of Engineering Services: Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering. Selected candidates will be appointed to various posts in governmental organizations like the Indian Railways, Central Engineering Service, Survey of India, Indian Ordnance Factories Service (Engineering Branch), Military Engineer Services, Indian Telecommunication Service, Central Power Engineering Service, Central Water Engineering Service etc.
Eligibility to apply for UPSC Engineering Services Examination 2011
To apply for UPSC Engineering Services Examination 2011 candidate must have an engineering degree from a recognized institute/university. Final year students can also apply for the UPSC Engineering Services Examination 2011.Candidate should be more than 21 years and less than 30 years of age as on 1st August, 2010.
How to apply for UPSC Engineering Services Examination 2011
Common application form for all UPSC entrance examination can be obtained from the designated Head Post Offices/Post Offices throughout the country on payment of Rs. 20/- (Rupees twenty only). The applicants are required to affix the postage stamp of Rs. 6/- on the Acknowledgement Cards and send the same alongwith application form to UPSC. The candidate should also write the name of Examination viz. Engineering Services Examination, 2011 on the envelope before despatching it to Secretary, Union Public Service Commission, Dholpur House, New Delhi-110069.
