Yenepoya University 2011 Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission for the following courses for the Academic year 2011-12.
Yenepoya Medical College, Deralakatte, Mangalore.
(Recognised by the Medical council of India and is a constituent college of Yenepoya University)
M.B.B.S. – 4 ½ Years Plus One Year Internship - 100 seats (subject to variation)

Yenepoya Dental College, Deralakatte, Mangalore.
(Recognised by the Medical council of India and is a constituent college of Yenepoya University)
B.D.S. – 5 YEARS - 100 seats (subject to variation)

Application forms may be obtained from the office of the undersigned and can also be downloaded from our website www.yenepoya.edu.in (Notice Board). Duly filled in application should reach the undersigned on or before the last date prescribed along with a DD for Rs.750/- (nonrefundable) towards registration fee in favour of Yenepoya University, payable at Mangalore.

Mangalore / Bangalore / Kochi / Delhi
(Change of center will not be permitted)
(Yenepoya University reserves the right to allot the centre other than the one chosen by the applicant)

Every challenge to the Answer keys has to be sent along with a D.D. for Rs.250/- drawn in favour of Yenepoya University payable at Mangalore. In case the challenge is correct the amount will be refunded otherwise the amount will not be refunded. Decision of the Chief Examiner / Coordinator will be final.
* Ragging is strictly prohibited & will attract stringent penal action. (GOI/MCI Notification regarding Prohibition of ragging is appended herewith).


Eligibility for Admission to M.B.B.S & B.D.S.
The applicant should have passed the two-year Pre-University Examination in Karnataka or its equivalent examination.
The candidate should have completed seventeen years of age as on 31st December of the academic year of admission.
The candidate shouId have studied Physics,Chemistry and BioIogy in the qualifying examination conducted by any recognized Indian Higher Secondary Board or equivalent qualification
Candidates who have passed B.Sc.examinations are also eligible for admission subject to the subjects grouping as approved by the University.
The candidate should have secured not less than 50% aggregate in the Science subjects in the qualifying examination and a pass in English for admission to MBBS and BDS. However, for candidates belonging to scheduled caste and scheduled tribe categories, the minimum aggregate is 40%.
The candidate should be medically fit.
Any other conditions laid down by the University from time to time.
Admission shall be subject to the approval of Yenepoya University.
The candidate has to submit, in original, the following documents :
a) SSLC Certificate
b) PUC 2 Certificate
c) Transfer Certificate
