Gandhigram Rural Institute offers two-year postgraduate degree course in ‘Rural Development.' The course comprises theory, extension activities in rural development, project management, management of micro-finance and non-governmental organisations, micro-enterprises and entrepreneurship, Information Technology for rural development, Geographical Information System, and Panchayat Raj system. Students will get hands on experience in project planning, setting up of knowledge resource centres and application of science and technology for rural development.
Recruitment drives will be organised. A graduate in any discipline are eligible for admission.
