Satyajit Ray Film and Television Institute, Kolkata-three-year full-time PG diploma course in cinema 2011-12.

The Satyajit Ray Film and Television Institute, Kolkata, under Government of India, has invited applications for an entrance test to be held on September 11 (Sunday) at Ernakulam, Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Lucknow, Mumbai, New Delhi, Patna, Raipur, Bhopal, Bhunbaneswar, Guwahati, Dehradun, Srinagar and Kolkata for admission to its three-year full-time PG diploma course in cinema for 2011-12.

Specialisations available for the programme are direction and screen playwriting, cinematography, editing, and audiography. Twelve students will be admitted per specialisation.

Graduates in any discipline from a recognised university are eligible to apply. Application form and other details can be downloaded from the web site www.srfti.gov.in.

Duly filled in application along with a demand draft for Rs.1,500 drawn in favour of Satyajit Ray Film and Television Institute, Kolkata and payable at Kolkata, attested copies of relevant certificate and five passport size photographs (besides this, one should be affixed on the application) should be sent to the Director, Satyajit Ray Film and Television Institute, EM Bypass Road . P.O, Panchasayar, Kolkata – 700094 so as to reach the addressee on or before August 24.
