B.Tech: Civil Engineering (60 seats), Computer Science and Engineering (60 seats), Electronics and Communication Engineering (60 seats), Electrical Engineering (60 seats), Mechanical Engineering (60 seats)

Eligibility and admission criteria

For UG Programme: The programme is open to candidates holding 3 years or more diploma in the appropriate fields approved by the directorate of technical education (Haryana) or equivalent with 50% marks in aggregate of all semesters in diploma (45% for SC of Haryana)

B.Tech Electrical Engineering: Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation and Process Control, Instrumentation and Control Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering/ Technology, Control Engineering, Control Engineering and Instrumentation, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Power Engineering
B.Tech Electronics and Communication Engineering: Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electronics and Electrical Communication, Electronics and Television Engineering, Electronics (Microprocessor), Electronics Engineering, Electronics (Video Engineering), Industrial Electronics, Medical Electronics

Entrance test: Candidates who consider themselves eligible can apply and appear in the entrance test (as applicable). Mere applying and qualifying entrance test shall not entitle a candidate for admission. Eligibility of candidates shall be verified at the time of admission. Entrance test will be of 2 hrs duration with 100 questions of multiple choices with one correct answer without negative marking

Reservation: Reservation of candidates shall be followed according to Haryana state govt. guidelines. However, in case the candidates of reserved category are not available, the seats shall be filled up by the candidates of general category

Counseling/Admission:
Counseling/admission shall be held on the scheduled date and time. Any change in the schedule shall be notified on the university website. Admissions shall be on the merit of the qualifying degree/diploma or entrance test as the case may be. Preference in admission shall be given to those who have already completed their degree and are in job in any organization or self employed on the day of counseling Unfilled reserved seats if any (after inter conversion among sub categories) shall be filled by HOGC candidates on the spot In case, the seats remain vacant, these shall be filled by the candidates who have appeared/appearing in final year examination After exhausting the list of entrance examination, if the seats remain vacant, these shall be filled on the basis of merit of qualifying degree/ diploma examination first from HOGC and then from AIC by inviting fresh applications If the seats still remain vacant, these shall be filled by candidates who have appeared/appearing in qualifying degree/diploma examination based on the aggregate merit up to pre final semester on AIC basis. Remaining seats if any shall be filled on first come first served basis through notice of vacant seats on website Final year appearing candidates have to submit their pass result of qualifying degree/diploma up to 31st October, 2011 failing which their admission shall be deemed cancelled

Admission notice:
Prospectus-cum-application forms can be obtained from the reception counter/ office of weekend programme (administrative block) on all days (Monday to Sunday) from 21st February, 2011 (9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m.) up to 10th April, 2011 on payment of Rs 1000/- in cash or through demand draft or can be downloaded from the University website which should be accompanied by demand draft of the same amount or can be obtained through post by sending a demand draft of Rs 1050/- up to 30th March, 2011 from the office of programme director, weekend programme
Demand draft should be in favour of Registrar, DCRUST, Murthal (SFS A/c-31133787915), payable at Sonepat/Delhi
In case the candidates are found ineligible or applications are received late, application fee will not be refunded. No enclosure is required with the application except demand draft (in case of downloaded form) for those who appear in the entrance test. However, for admission on the basis of qualifying degree basis in PG programme, all relevant documents are to be attached with the application. In case of eligibility in more than one course, separate application form is to be submitted for each course in which the candidate is interested for admission
Admit cards for entrance test shall be collected in person from venue of examination one hour before the start of the test
The last date for receiving filled in application form in the office of programme director, weekend programme is 10th April, 2011 by 5.30 p.m.
