Applications have been invited from meritorious students to participate in the International Olympiads 2012 in physics, chemistry, biology, astronomy and junior science.
The selection will be made on the basis of national standard examination to be held on November 27. About 300 toppers in each subject will qualify for the second stage selection.
Orientation-cum-selection camps in each subject will be held for third stage selection.
The selected Indian teams will undergo pre-department training and participate in the respective international Olympiads
For Olympiads in Physics, Chemistry and Biology: Science students of Class XII or lower classes as on November 30, 2011. Their date of birth should be on or before July 1, 1992.
For Astronomy Olympiad: Students of Class XII or lower classes as on November 30, 2011. Their date of birth should be on or after January 1, 1993.
For Junior Science Olympiad: Students of Class X or lower classes as on November 30, 2011.
Their date of birth should be on or after January 1, 1997.
