IIM Udaipur Admission Policy 2012-14

IIM Udaipur, the youngest member in the IIM family, has issued admission policy for its second batch. The PGP Batch (2012-14) is likely to be around 120 students strong. Unlike the older members in the IIM Family, new IIMs will not have Group Discussion (GD) as a part of admission process. Personal Appearance (PA) process will replace GD, which will compose Written Analysis (WA) and Personal Interview (PI). The PA process will be common to all the six new IIMs, namely, Rohtak, Ranchi, Raipur, Tiruchirapalli, Udaipur and Kashipur.

1. Criteria for Short listing for PA process
The cut-off percentile marks for eligibility for PA process in the two sections and the total CAT scores for different categories of students is given below.

Category                            QA and DI               VA and LR            Total

SC                                      45                               45                          65

ST                                     40                                40                           60

PWD                                 45                               45                            65

General                            70                              70                             80

Among the candidates who qualify as per above eligible criterion, criterion used for short listing
for PA process would be total CAT score. IIM Udaipur admission committee will decide the
number of candidates which would be called for PA process for each of the above categories.
