Tamil Nadu Veterinary and Animal Sciences University has announced the schedule of postgraduate admissions for the current academic year 2011-12.
The application forms have to be downloaded from the university website www.tanuvas.ac.in. The last date for submission of applications as hardcopy is August 8. The new postgraduate and diploma courses started this year are M.V.Sc. in Bio statistics, M.Tech in Food Processing Technology and M.Phil in Climate change for Fisheries.
The university has also started a few postgraduate diploma programmes through the distance education and online mode to benefit practitioners of veterinary science and also science graduates interested in becoming entrepreneurs. They include PG diploma programmes in veterinary ophthalmology, small animal orthopaedics, small animal dermatology, emergency and critical care medicine, commercial poultry production, feed production technology and ethno veterinary practices.
