INDIAN INSTITUTE OF TOURISM AND TRAVEL MANAGEMENT, GWALIOR

General Information 
1. IITTM organizes Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) programmes in
Tourism & Travel, Tourism & Leisure, Services, International Tourism Business,
Tourism & Logistics and Tourism and Cargo. Courses are selectively offered at the
Gwalior main campus and its centers Bhubaneswar, New Delhi and Nellore.
2. Admission Procedure: Admission to PGDM programme will be made on the basis
of overall performance in written test, group discussion (GD) and personal interview
(PI). Short listed students will be called for GD and PI at Gwalior, Bhubaneswar and New Delhi during February 19 - March 13, 2011 (exact dates and value will be announced later). The admission will be made during counseling strictly on the basis of overall merit comprising of performance at written test, group discussion and personal interview.

3. IITTM Admission Test (January 16, 2011) to be conducted at Ahmedabad,
Bangalore, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Dehradun, Guwahati, Gwalior,
Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, New Delhi, Patna, Raipur, Ranchi
and Trivandrum. Candidate may indicate three choices but centre will be offered only if there are sufficient numbers of candidates available.
5. The candidate will be offered the choice of programmes and the study centers in order of their merit determined by the institute. The choice of the center opted by you, will be final. The request for change of center for GD/PI and Study will not be
considered.
6. Application form and bulletin may be down loaded from the institute’s website.

7. Application Procedure: Complete application in the prescribed format as given on our website www.iittm.org should reach the IITTM office on the address given below latest by December 16, 2010 by post/ by hand along with a demand of Rs.800/- (Rs.500/- for SC/ST/PH) drawn in favour of The Director, IITTM payable at Gwalior.Those with valid CAT/MAT score may apply by February 21, 2011. On the envelope please mention in bold capital letters “Admission Application” on the right hand corner. Application forms received after the due date will not be considered.

Instructions for candidates
1.Test duration 2 hours 30 minutes
2. Use only HB pencil to darken the oval for answering. 
3.There are 200 objective type questions in the test paper comprising of four parts:
a. Reasoning 60 questions
b. Language proficiency 60 questions
c. Numerical ability 40 questions
d. General awareness 40 questions
4.Each question contains four options for answer including one correct answer each
correct answer carries one mark. There is negative making 0.25 marks will be
deducted for every incorrectly answer.
