MAT (Management Aptitude Test) September 2011


MAT (Management Aptitude Test) dates for September 2011 have been announced. The MAT Paper Based Test is scheduled for the 4th of September, 2011 (Sunday) from 10:00am to 12:30pm and the MAT Computer Based Test will be starting                                                                        from 10th September, 2011 (Saturday).

Note down these important dates:

Last date for sale of MAT Forms is on the 12th of August, 2011 (Friday)
• Last date for submission of filled in MAT Registration Forms at AIMA, New Delhi, is on the 16th of August, 2011 (Tuesday)
• Last date for MAT Online Registration is on the 12th of August (Friday)
• Last Date for submission of MAT filled in Online Registration forms at AIMA, New Delhi, is on the 16th of August 2011 (Tuesday)


In order to apply for MAT, candidates can choose from any of the following modes:
Obtain Form with MAT Bulletin/CD against cash payment of Rs 1200/- (One thousand two hundred only) from listed branches of Bank of Baroda, Axis Bank, listed Study Centres of AIMA OR against cash payment of Rs 1050/- (One thousand fifty only) from AIMA, New Delhi.

Obtain crossed Demand Draft (DD) of Rs 1050/- (One thousand fifty only) in favour of ‘All India Management Association’ payable at Delhi from any Bank. Register online at website www.aima-ind.org/matsep11 along with the DD details. Detailed procedure is given on the website link.

                                                 OR

Register online at website link http://www.aima-ind.org/mat.aspx with Credit Card payment. Detailed procedure is given on the website link.

The Exam Pattern for MAT September 2011:

• It consists of multiple choice questions.
• The candidates are given one mark for each correct answer and 0.25 negative marking for each incorrect answer.
• The test consists of 200 questions, 40 questions in each section and the duration is 150 minutes.

MAT comprises of 5 sections, which are as follows:

• Quantitative Ability
• Reading comprehension and English Usage
• Data Interpretation and Data Sufficiency
• Logical Reasoning
• General Knowledge

The Exam Centers for MAT September 2011 are as follows:

It will take place in 84 cities in India and 2 international cities of Dubai and Singapore. Hyderabad, Chandigarh, Delhi, Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Cochin, Bhopal, Mumbai, Jaipur, Chennai, Lucknow, Noida and Kolkata will hold MAT in both paper pencil and computer based formats.
