Central Universities Common Entrance Test(CUCET) 2011-12 Notification

Central Universities Common Entrance Test (CUCET 2011) notification has been announced. This is a wonderful opportunity for those interested in studying PG, Graduation, MBA and Integrated Courses in the listed central universities in Karnataka, Tamilnadu, Bihar, Jammu kashmir, Kerala, Rajasthan and Jharkhand. Candidates need to write only one entrance exam for admission in 7 central universities. This is single Common Entrance Examination for admission into various courses for the academic year 2011-12. List of participating universities is given below. This will save so much application money and energies and time of the students. The Government of India has established these Central Universities following the recommendations of National Knowledge Commission (NKC). Following are details of eligibility and application procedure:

Admissions will be held into various Post Graduate, Bachelors, Integrated Courses and MBA Programs in following Central Universities through CUCET 2011-12.

1. Central University of Kerala
2. Central University of Karnataka
3. Central University of Rajasthan
4. Central University of Jharkhand
5. Central University of Tamil Nadu
6. Central University of Bihar
7. Central University of Kashmir

Eligibility Requirements: Eligibility conditions and qualification varies from university to university. Candidates have to check concerned university website for the details of course specific eligibility. OR you can check www.cucet.ac.in .

Application Procedure: Candidates can apply either online or offline. Online application facility is available from May 3rd 2010 on official website www.cucet.nic.in . Details of courses like M.Sc., M.A, MBA, BBA etc available on the above website.

Important Dates:

1. Opening of online application: 2nd May 2011
2. Opening of Offline application process: 5th May 2011
3. Last date for sale of offline / online form closes : 2nd June 2011
4. Last date for the receipt of filled in forms: 4th June 2011
5. Download of Admit Card: 13- 16th June 2011
6. CUCET 2011-12: 18th and 19th June 2011.
7. CUCET 2011 Results: 12-07-2011
