Admission Process
Candidates are required to appear for VAMNICOM Entrance Test which is normally scheduled on the first Sunday of February every year. Applications are available from the first week of November and the last date for submission of filled-in applications is end of the first week of January. Admission procedure for the PGDM programme is as given below:

1. General Candidates
VAMNICOM TEST
Candidates willing to take admission in VAMNICOM are required to appear for VAMNICOM Entrance Test. The candidates can download application forms from the Download section of this website and send along with it a Demand Draft to the Programme Director - PGDM, Centre for Management Education, Vaikunth Mehta National Institute of Co-operative Management, University Road, Pune - 411 007.
Selection Procedure
The selection to PGDM Programme is based on Entrance Test comprising of
a) Written Test and
b) Interview.
Entrance test is compulsory for all the candidates including sponsored and ward candidates.
VAMNICOM Written test comprises of four sections:

Eligibility
* Any graduate from a recognised University (minimum education of 15 years (10+2+3) with at least 50% marks for the for the General/OBC (Non Creamy) candidates and 45% marks for SC/ST candidates.
* The percentage obtained by the candidate in Bachelor's Degree would be based on the practice followed by the University / Institution from where the candidate has obtained the Degree.
2. Co-operative / Government Sponsored Candidates
Three seats are reserved for Co-operative, and Central/State Government employees. A Co-operative Organisation having more than 25 employees and having a turnover of more than one crore per annum and Government can sponsor their employees for the PGDM programme. The seats are reserved for such sponsored candidates provided they fulfill the following conditions:
* Any graduate with a minimum of 15 years (10+2+3) of education with minimum 50% marks (all the subjects in all the years put together) from a recognised University.
* The sponsoring organisation should be willing to grant leave to the candidate (if selected) for the period of study and it should make payment of fees and other dues of the candidates to the Institute. Fees will not be accepted from the candidate directly.
* The candidate should appear for the VAMNICOM Test and Interview.
3. Wards of NCUI / NCCT / VAMNICOM Employees
Admission Procedure followed are same as given for General Candidates. Three seats are reserved for the wards of NCUI / NCCT/ VAMNICOM employees.
Admission 2011-2013 details at a glance
The 19th PGDM - ABM Batch Progamme 2011-2013 is commencing on 24th June, 2011.
The Entrance Test is scheduled on 6th February, 2011 at 2.00 p.m. to 5.00 p.m..
The prescribed application form along with the prospectus can be obtained by sending Rs.1100/- by Demand Draft in favour of “The Director, VAMNICOM, Pune” addressed to the Progamme Director-PGDM, Centre for Management Education, Vaikunth Mehta National Institute of Co-operative Management, University Road, Pune 411 007. The last date for submission of filled-in application is 10th January, 2011.
Applicants who have appeared for Bachelor’s Degree examination and awaiting results may also apply subject to fulfillment of conditions by 14/08/2011.
Cooperative / Government sponsored candidate should have a minimum of three years work experience in the sponsoring organisation and crossed the age of 23 years on 1st July, 2011.
The Entrance Test will be conducted at Bangaluru, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Dapoli, Gandhinagar, Guwahati, Hissar, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Jammu, Mohanpur (W.B.), Nagpur, New Delhi, Palampur (HP), Pantnagar, Patna, Pune, Thiruvananthapuram and Varanasi (subject to opting of adequate number of candidates).
The short listed candidates are called for personal interview at selected centers in the month of March / April, 2011.
