UPES Management entrance test (UPESMET)
For admission to UPES college of management and economics studies
MBA: Oil and Gas Management, Power management, Energy trading, Infrastructure management, aviation management, Port and Shipping management, Logistics and Supply chain management, Information systems management, International business
Eligibility criteria: 50% marks in class 10th, 12th and graduation (final year graduation students can also apply)
For MBA Oil and Gas, Power Management, Energy trading, Logistics and supply chain management, international business CAT score of 75 percentile or MAT score of 80 percentile will be exempted from UPES-MET test.
For MBA Port and Shipping management, aviation management, information systems management, infrastructure management candidates having CAT score of 70 percentile or MAR score of 75 percentile will be exempted from UPES-MET test
Selection criteria: Group discussion and personal interview
CAT November 2010, MAT September 2010, December 2010, February 2011, May 2011 will be accepted for 2011 admissions

UPES Law aptitude test
For admission to UPES college of legal studies
B.A.-LL.B with emphasis on energy laws; BBA-LL.B with emphasis on corporate laws
Eligibility criteria: 50% marks in class 10th, 12th (students appearing in class 12th exam can also apply)
CLAT merit/LSAT-India merit: Candidates with minimum 50% marks in higher and senior secondary (10th and 12th) and CLAT ranking up to 1500/LSAT-India score of 60 percentile or above will be exempted from UL-SAT
Board merit: Candidates with 85% marks in 10th and 12th best of five subjects (English as one of the compulsory paper) are exempted from UPES Law studies aptitude test (UL-SAT)
Selection criteria: Group discussion and personal interview through merit ranking

Admission through board merit/AIEEE merit
Eligibility (non-exam category): For board merit; minimum 80% marks of higher and senior secondary level (10th, 12th) and minimum 80% marks aggregate in PCM at senior secondary level (12th class) are exempted from UPESEAT
B.Tech + LL.B candidates with minimum 80% marks in 10th, 12th and 12th PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Maths) are exempted from UL-SAT/UPESEAT
For AIEEE merit: Minimum 60% marks of higher and senior secondary level (10th, 12th), minimum 60% marks aggregate in PCM of senior secondary level (12th class) and AIEEE all India rank up to 1 lakh are exempted from UPESEAT
For CLAT merit/LSAT India merit: B.Tech+LL.B candidates with minimum 60% marks in higher and senior secondary (10th, 12th), minimum 60% marks in PCM at senior secondary level (12th) and CLAT ranking up to 1500/LSAT-India score of 60 percentile or above will be exempted from UL-SAT
Selection criteria: Counseling through merit ranking
100% scholarship on tuition fee
Scholarship will be offered to students securing on aggregate of 85% marks in class XII and 90% marks in PCM for B.Tech (all streams) in CBSE or ICSE examination board. Such scholarships will be limited to 5% of seats in each B.tech program
Scholarships will be given on the basis of merit only
Continuation of scholarship in the subsequent year will be as per the university policy.
