Note: Candidates with a valid CAT / MAT / CMAT need not apply for the online entrance test. However, they have to appear for the GD / PI session.
LMTSOM Eligibility:
- Admission to two year MBA program will be open to a candidate who obtains at least 60% marks in aggregate in the qualifying examination from a recognized university.
- B.E. / B.Tech degree in any discipline OR M.Sc / M.A in Mathematics/ Mathematics and Computing/ Statistics / Operation Research / Computer Science / Electronics / Information Technology / Information Science / Physics OR M.C.A.
How to Apply for LMTSOM:
Interested candidates can download the application form from the University’s official website: http://www.thapar.edu/. Candidates need to fill in the downloaded application form in the prescribed format in their handwriting and send it, along with a crossed DD of Rs 1500 drawn in favor of the Registrar, Thapar University, payable at Patiala and other requisite enclosures (details available on the website), to the Registrar, Thapar University, Patiala - 147 004, on or before January 30, 2012 till 5.00 pm.
Selection Procedure for LMTSOM:
Selection of the candidates will be made on the basis of Master Merit List (MML). MML is prepared on the basis of candidates’ performance in Thapar University MBA Online Entrance Test, followed by Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI), to be conducted by the University.
Important Dates for LMTSOM:
- Last date for submission of application form: January 30, 2012.
- Online Entrance Test: February 7, 2012 to February 12, 2012.
