SNAP 2010 Analysis,cutoff,Answer key,Result Date

SNAP test was held on 19th December 2010, Sunday (Time: 2.00 pm to 4.00 pm). SNAP 2010 question paper was same as that of SNAP 2009. SNAP question paper had 150 questions divided into 4 sections. Each question was followed by four options. Incorrect answers attracted a penalty of 25% of the marks allotted to the question.

The test structure of SNAP test 2010 was as below:

Negative Marking:

For 1 mark question – 0.25

For 2 mark question – 0.5


Section wise Analysis on SNAP 2010:

General English: Which had questions on Reading Comprehension, Verbal Reasoning, Verbal Ability was quite simple and was rated easy. Students who has prepared well for SNAP can easily score 28-30 marks in less than 25 minutes.
Quantitative, Data Interpretation & Data Sufficiency: This section was rated easy to moderate in difficulty level. Around 4-5 questions in the section had some error, ambiguity or incomplete information.
General Awareness: The section had a good mix of current affairs (17 questions) and static GK. Certain questions were very tricky and a score of 18-20 would be considered very good.
Analytical & Logical Reasoning: This section was the most easiest section in SNAP 2010 and one could 40 marks easily in 40 minutes.


Overall SNAP 2010 was easy to moderate in difficulty level. The overall cut-off may go up slightly this year as there were no sectional cut offs. SNAP 2010 Results are expected to be on or before 12th January, 2011.
