Eligibility and Selection Process for the Third Batch (2011 - 12)
Eligibility
The programme is meant for bright & young executives with significant work experience. The candidate should have
(a) A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in any discipline
(b) Minimum Age: 25 years as on July 1, 2011 [born on or before July 1, 1986]
(c) Upper age limit: None
(d) GMAT (www.mba.com) score obtained after January 01, 2007
Or
(d) CAT score of CAT 2007 or CAT 2008, or CAT 2009, or CAT 2010.
(CAT is the Common Admission Test conducted by the Indian Institutes of Management)
Admission Procedure
Admission to PGPIM will be a two stage process: Stage I will be the Assessment of Candidate’s Profile coupled with GMAT or CAT score; and stage II will include personal interview. The final selection will be based on the following criteria :

Interview
Interviews for candidates applying in Admission Cycle 1 will be held at respective Centres during mid-February to mid March, 2011 over weekends.

Commencement of the Programme- July 21, 2011
* Those who have taken CAT 2007, CAT 2008, CAT 2009 or CAT 2010 can also apply.
Fees Programme Fee for the Third Batch (2011 -12) will be INR 12.80 Lakhs. The programme fee includes tuition fees, basic programme material, library & network charges, hostel accommodation on single occupancy basis and the costs of the Study Visits within India and overseas. More specifically, the Programme Fee does not include the expenses on food and the cost of Laptop, which will have to be borne by the participants.
Accommodation
As PGPIM is a full time residential programme, it is compulsory for all participants to stay on AIIM campus. Participants will be given an air-conditioned furnished room on single occupancy basis.
There is no provision for the married student housing on AIIM campus. If required, the Institute will permit married students to lease accommodation in the vicinity of AIIM campus at their own cost. On specific request, the Institute will also provide necessary assistance to the participants, who need married student housing, for identifying leased accommodation in the vicinity of the AIIM Campus. The cost of married student accommodation will have to be borne by the concerned participants.
