G D Goenka World Institute and Lancaster University, UK announces admission to their PGDBM (2yr), MSC (1 Yr), BBA (3yr) and engineering (4Yr) degree programmes. Applications can be downloaded from the website.

Admission Process
Applications are reviewed for basic eligibility, academic performance, and other evidence of the candidate’s suitability to his/her preferred programme.
The admissions committee responds within 12 working days of receipt of application and sends:
  • A confirmed admission offer, or
  • A request for an additional written test and/or interview and/or group discussion, in case the admissions committee feels it needs additional information on the applicant, or
  • A note of regret, in case admission is declined
All decisions are communicated via e-mail. Please check your e-mail (as provided in the application form) for our response.
When admission is offered to successful applicants, the e-mail is also followed by an official offer of admission, sent via courier.
Written test / Interview / GD
  • Written test / interview / group discussion are not mandatory for all students and may not be needed where the student has an outstanding academic record.
  • In some cases, where the admissions committee feels it needs additional information about the student, it may advise a test / interview / GD.
  • Eligible applicants may choose alternative interview / test / GD dates on request to be able to appear for other entrance tests and exams.
  • Students applying for the Postgraduate Diploma in Business Management (PGDBM) are exempt from the written test if they have cleared the following cut-offs in CAT (70th percentile), MAT (600), and GMAT (500).



Eligibility Criteria

M.Sc. Management and the M.Sc Management and Marketing

Admission is based on academic performance in your undergraduate or subsequent graduate degree programmes. Students appearing for their final year undergraduate examination will be given provisional admission based on previous academic performance.

Postgraduate Diploma in Business Management (PGDBM)

Admission is based on academic performance in your undergraduate degree programme in any stream. Those who have taken the CAT, MAT and the GMAT exams and have achieved the following cutoffs are exempt from the written test, but may be required to take the interview / group discussion at the discretion of the admissions office:

CAT 70 percentile
MAT 600
GMAT 500
Undergraduate Programmes

Admissions for all of the undergraduate programs are based on your performance in the class 12th examination. Within 12 days of receipt of your application form, we will inform you of your admission status or if an additional written test / interview are needed.

 Scholarships
The Institute awards a number of scholarships to students on the basis of their academic performance. Since these are academic scholarships, it is expected that a student will continue to maintain good academic achievement during the period of his/her study at the GDGWI.
Eligibility
Undergraduate
Students who have secured a minimum of 85 percent in their class XII or equivalent examinations would be eligible to receive a waiver of up to 50 percent of their tuition fees, spread over all teaching terms as scholarship. This will continue as long as they are able to maintain a minimum of 60 percent in each term of their study at GDGWI. This scholarship is only applicable to students pursuing undergraduate degree programmes.
Postgraduate
The Institute also has 10 scholarships for postgraduate studies. These scholarships are distributed on the basis of marks scored in undergraduate examinations. The recipients of these scholarships have to maintain a minimum of 60 percent marks in their term examinations.
