Admission for the session 2011-12 through NERIST Entrance Examination (NEE) – 2011
Applications on prescribed OMR form are invited from eligible class 10th, 10+2 PCM / PCB / Vocational; ITI & Diploma (Engg.) passed/appearing candidates for admission to Base (Certificate),
Diploma and Degree modules in Technology stream, and B.Sc. in Forestry Stream. Information
Brochure(IB)-cum-OMR Application Form, NEE–2011 for admission through NEE–I, NEE–II and
NEE-III can be obtained from Directorates of Higher Education of 8 North Eastern States and main
branches of Axis Bank at Itanagar, Guwahati (Paltan bazar & Christian Basti), North Lakhimpur,
Jorhat, Tinsukia, Dibrugarh, Tezpur, Nagaon, New Bongaigaon, Silchar, Karimganj, Shillong, Tura,
Aizawl, Imphal, Kohima, Dimapur, Gangtok, Agartala, Dharmanagar, Siliguri, Kolkata, Bhubaneswar,
Patna, Ranchi, Lucknow, New Delhi, Raipur, Chennai, Bangaluru, Mumbai and Pune @ `750/- for
GE/OBC, and `400/- for ST/SC/PD w.e.f. 03.01.2011 to 25.02.2011.

NO. OF SEATS RESERVATION OF SEATS FOR ALL THE PROGRAMMES
NEE - I : 200 10% of the seats are for each of the eight North Eastern States under States’ quota,
NEE -II (T) : 80 7% of the seats are for PRC holders of these states on merit basis, 10% of the seats
NEE -II (FO) : 30 are for any of the States of India under All India quota; and the rest 3% of the seats
NEE-III : 72 are reserved for Physically Disabled (PD) candidates with 40-75% locomotion
disability.
