B.Tech. course from ICFAI


The Faculty of Science and Technology (FST) of Icfai Foundation for Higher Education (IFHE) University has opened admissions for the second batch of B.Tech courses.

The four-year full-time campus-based B.Tech Programme with branches in Civil Engineering, Computer Science &Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Electronics & Communications Engineering and Mechanical Engineering is unique in the sense that it has three mandatory internships and every graduate will be put in the industry for internship across the country.

The B.Tech programme is delivered with contemporary curriculum suing the latest pedagogical methods at the 91-acre lush green campus with built-up area of over 10 lakh Sq.ft. The programme is fully residential and the campus has state-of-the-art facilities.

As a senior faculty, Damodar Reddy explains, the course curriculum captures the contemporary and effective pedagogy and emphasis is on both fundamentals and applications. Multi-disciplinary learning is encouraged by way of internships, measurement techniques, workshop practices and other group learning assignments.

Students securing 70 per cent and above aggregate in class X, as well as in 12{+t}{+h}class with Mathematics, physics and chemistry as subjects in English medium of instruction are eligible. Students need to appear for any of the common entrance tests conducted by the state or central governments like IIT-Jee-2011, AIEEE-2011 or EAMCET. Programme fee is Rs. 80,000 per semester.
