Detailed analysis of IRMA 2010

On 14th Nov.2010 I appeared for IRMA.This is my take on it.
First English comprehension
First question was a comprehension passage of moderate length on water management, followed to it where questions related to it.Some of the word in the passage where underlined and there synonym and antonym where asked.
Next question where of arranging the line in a meaningful way.It was quite easy...Next a passage was given in which few words where banked and options where provided from which correct word to be filled in the blanks where to be chosen.
In total there where 40 question in this section. And I would rate it it " Easy

Quantitative aptitude
First of all I would like to advise all future aspirants to please be well versed in doing faster calculation especially calculation involving  decimal numbers. IRMA quant. is all faster calculation ,the more fast you could multiply ,divide decimal numbers, more question you could attempt.Overall the quant. section was easy to moderate. The student need to make intelligent guessing and one more think never guess or calculate to only one place of decimal always try to solve up  to two places of decimal  as there is an option of none of these. Beware of this option and don't take lightly.
The questions where from profit and loss, discount, simple and compound interest,Percentage.
One more important thing please revise or go through previous paper for quant. as it actually helps. And many a time some question are also repeated as was in the case of IRMA 2010 one last question of quant. was a repeat of IRMA 2007.
Last year papers can be availed from my previous posts.

Analytical Reasoning
this section of IRMA is similar to any bank P.O. paper. So if any one want to Practice this section could see Bank P.O. papers.Overall this is all about practice and the knowledge of question.
Questions in this section where of finding cause and effect ,course of action which assumption is probably/definitely true, Linear arrangement(find the position), series ,codes.

Issues of social concern
Last but not the least ,this section which comprise most number of question i.e 60 is always the deciding factor. This year the paper was on same pattern as previous years i.e questions where mostly of govt. plans and schemes and rural background.
Here are few questions this time around which help you to analyse the pattern of this section.
