Admissions for PGP 2011-12.

The application process is completely online; hence a PC with an Internet connection is a must. You will need to create an account to complete the online application. Once this is done, a confirmation email will be sent to you with the necessary information to activate your online application account.

The online application will ask you to complete information which pertains to your personal details, contact details, education details, work experience details, etc. in addition to writing a few essays. You will also need to provide names and contact details of two professionals to write recommendation letters for you based on the format which is accessible from our online application.

Once you submit your application, you will be taken to a payment gateway where you will be required to pay INR 3000 (equivalent of USD 60) as application fee using a VISA/Master credit card or internet banking (ICICI Bank only). If the payment is successful , the application is considered submitted. You do not need to complete the entire application in one sitting. You may save parts of the application, log out, and return later to complete another part.

The Admissions Office will then check the application to ensure it is complete and inform the applicant accordingly. You may then keep yourself updated on the status of your application through the online application itself.

Shortlisting:
Selected applicants will be short listed for an interview. Interviews will take place sometime around November for the First Cycle and in January for the Second Cycle.

Interviews:
ISB representatives will conduct personal interviews in Delhi, Kolkata, and Hyderabad only. International applicants can have a telephonic interview.

Decision:
A decision will be taken after all the interviews are conducted. An admission offer will be made to a few of the interviewed students who are accepted into the programme.

Acceptance:
Students will be given 15 days time to accept or decline the offer made to them. On accepting the offer, an admission fee of INR 2,00,000 (INR 5,00,000 for those offered under CLIP) has to be remitted. This fee is non-refundable under any circumstances.

New Admits Information:
All the new admits will be provided a site with information to the various details like fees, accommodation, pre-term courses, etc.

Course Commencement:
The course begins in April every year and it is a 1 year residential programme.

ADMISSION PRE-REQUISITES
 To be eligible to apply you must meet the following requirements:
A Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
Preferably two years of full-time work experience after graduation.
Exceptional candidates with lesser experience will be considered for deferred admission.
GMAT score
TOEFL / IELTS / PTE score, only if language of instruction during under graduate education was not English.

INTERNATIONAL APPLICANTS

Our full time one-year residential programme is academically rigorous and innovative, and the relevant and timely curriculum has been developed in coordination with our associate schools: Wharton, Kellogg School of Management and London Business School.

International Admissions Checklist

GMAT: Scores of the last five years valid
TOEFL/IELTS: Only if English was not the language of instruction during undergraduate education

The ISB follows a rolling admissions process for international applications, apply any time from May 18, 2010 to January 15, 2011.

International Scholarships

The Indian School of Business is pleased to announce our international tuition scholarships for the ISB Post Graduate Programme in Management, class of April 2011-12.

Scholarships ranging from USD $6,000 - $20,000 will be awarded to ten international candidates of non-Indian origin demonstrating merit, professionalism, and reason for choosing India.

To apply, please indicate on the admissions application and complete the additional assigned essay.

Scholarship applications will be reviewed and awarded during the interview process. The scholarship and application deadline is January 15, 2011. *Exclusively for international passport holders of non-Indian origin.

ISB-AIESEC Scholarships

ISB and AIESEC are pleased to offer two $20,000 scholarships to AIESEC alumni of non-Indian origin. To apply, please indicate your AIESEC alumni membership and complete the additional essay on the admissions application.

Scholarships will be rewarded based on the essay, leadership experiences, merit and reason for choosing India.
